MY JOURNEY
I live by the motto 'when I move, I feel alive.' I firmly believe that humans aren't designed to sit still for extended periods, and movement can serve as a remedy and preventive measure against illness, depression, physical, and mental pain.
Incorporating movement into my daily routine is non-negotiable for me; it could be a leisurely walk, a run, a dynamic spinning class, or gentle Yin yoga, depending on what my body needs that day. Listening to my body and treating it with kindness is paramount.
My journey began around the age of 18. As a child, I adored gymnastics for its elegance and the sense of control it provided over my body. Unfortunately, I had to halt due to injury. Yoga became my refuge, and I explored various styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Power, and Bikram. Embracing diversity, I often blended these styles, finding solace and peace in the practice.
.
In 2020, after almost a decade, I pursued my online 200-hour teacher training with the Aadi Yoga School in Rishikesh, India. Immediately after, I began teaching and eventually relocated to Morocco for a couple of months to teach yoga in Tamraght, Morocco, where I am also organizing my Surf & Yoga Retreats. Alongside yoga, I enjoy more intense sports like running. I also completed my Reformer Pilates instructor training with Rite Studios.
I firmly believe in the power of variety – there's no one-size-fits-all approach to sports or achieving a desired state of mind. It's about finding a balance, much like in life itself.
